Golang Job: Software Developer - Golang

We are looking for a Full Time Golang Developer with experience building robust APIs and web-services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• You will help us build optimized, scalable, and modular software using required technologies.
• You will be tasked with developing and coding back-end components and connecting applications to other web services.
• Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
• Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
• Participating in architectural and design decisions, building towards an efficient distributed architecture
• Implement Golang libraries that will optimize performance without sacrificing security and base functionality
• Manage multiple projects within reasonable design specifications and budget restrictions
• You will work with the team on the design, development, and maintenance of Golang based backends to support cloud-based software for supporting sellers on Amazon.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Experience with Vue.js
• Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
• Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
• Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
• Go’s templating language
• Go’s code generation tools, such as Stringer
• Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
• Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
• At least 4 years of experience with Golang.
• Have expertise in implementing web services.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, ability to write complex queries and optimize them
• Excellent database skills and knowledge – preferably Postgres
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Basic experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, Concourse, etc.)
• Basic experience working with AWS
• Fluent in English is a must
• Startup experience desirable
